I just ordered Tom of Finland XXL. I had been thinking of buying that massive book ever since I saw it in The Hague last weekend, but it was very expensive (150 euros) so I decided to take some time to consider. Of course I couldn't leave the bookstore empty-handed, so I did buy a tiny booklet with similar spectaculair artwork: Sailors & Sea by Pierre et Gilles;



Nice as it is, it didn't still my hunger for buying books;) I still had to have the Tom of Finland book because I LOVE his drawings. To my surprise I found the book much cheaper online, so I totally treated myself:)

Inspired by all the art, I made new userpics, which brings my grand total to 113!

I have that Pierre et Gilles book! They have some really good collections in that series, I keep meaning to buy more.

\o/ Taschen publishes the most beautiful artsy collections. I often choose to be ignorant and just admire the pretty, but I'm glad I finally found out who took those marvelous photos of Rupert Everett.
