The book pile never seems to shrink
May. 24th, 2009 12:51 pmFinished a new bookreview: Smart Women - Ten Stories From Decamerone by Giovanni Boccaccio. When I put the book back on the shelf, I discovered another old book: "The Mill on the Floss" by George Eliot, in an old Dutch edition. I don't think I've ever read it and on first glance the language seems very dated, so I might try to find an original version.
In the mean time I added the books I bought in Amsterdam last Friday to My Readinglist. Of course Harry Potter is my priority at the moment; I want to finish rereading the first six books before the new film in July. I've started in The Chamber Of Secrets this week, I left the gang in a classroom filled with Cornish Pixies... I think I'm gonna curl up in my readingchair after lunch. Mmmmm.
