beelikej: (Heal Me)

Every once in a while I will feel sorry for myself and have a little cry. It used to be very hormone related, but the past couple of years I've managed to play it cool, even when I'm on my own. (The last time I cried in company is over ten years ago I think) I can usually feel it coming, tears will be triggered by some sentimental moment in a movie or tv-series. It didn't last long tonight and now I'm tough woman again, I like that much better.

Stupid tears.

And before you draw the wrong conclusion: the cry was not caused by CSI (Time Of Your Death), but I watched a German coming-out movie after that (Sommersturm) and I made it until the end-credits, then I broke down. A nice and quiet little sob it was. Movie wasn't that amazing, but lovely sentiments and soundtrack. (Pet Shop Boys, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, eighties much;)

Summerstorm is on my Blockbuster Online queue, but they don't have the DVD available yet so I have no idea when I'll get to see it. Though I get so ridiculously emotional about movies, particularly messy coming-of-age stories, that I'm kind of scared to watch it, so maybe that's a good thing.

I would make a copy available, but my version only has dutch and french subtitles and I'm guessing you need the english translation? (also I would have to figure out how to make a copy with subtitles, but I'm willing to learn;)
The very emotional scenes are compensated with plenty of humor and the cliché-gay-characters are adressed in the film, so it's a well balanced story, but still pretty messy (post)puberty stuff;)
