Since I unexpectedly managed to make it through work for the past two days despite the pending flue, I thought I had recovered. But this morning I suddenly felt feverish again and got a splitting headache on top of that. When I almost killed my intern because she dared to ask me a question, I decided it was best for everybody if I went home. I told the boss I was sick and was looking forward to spending the afternoon in bed.

I just got home; in front of my house the pavers are flattening the new tiles on the sidewalk. With heavy machinery.

Ahw, thankies.Despite the workfolk beneath my bedroomwindow I managed to get some sleep this afternoon and am sure I will be fit for the Elephantparade on Saturday:)

I thought I was doing fine, but my head and stomach are still fuzzy. I can still make it to bed before midnight, let's hope a return to my regular schedule works better than that going to bed early thing I have been trying for the past days.
