Why don't I have a nomnomnom userpic?

beelikejTonight mom came over for dinner and a movie. We had escargots with parsley butter for appetizers. Ehm. I should have made pictures, these are not mine, but this is what they look like:
Before (although I bought them already stuffed with parsley butter):
On a plate after a couple of minutes in the oven:
Heh. They look pretty, but I don't think I can recommend them; the structure is quite awkward and the flavour is not that exciting. The melted parsley butter was nice though:) And my maincourse kicked ass! Sorry, I'm too tired to figure out all the English terms for all the stuff I cooked and baked, but it was mm-mm-good. As was dessert: lemon cheesecakepudding, nomnomnom.
We watched an old Dutch film up in the attic; Qui Vive, part two of a family trilogy, made by the same director and actors over twenty years. The final part will be shown in the Arthouse in two weeks. Part one was made in 1989, the film we watched was from 2001. Awesome actors, fascinating story. We already made reservations for part three.
We had a good time:)

Watching a film in the attic was much more relaxing than having to cycle to the cinema or Arthouse. \o/
