Back from my long weekend trip to Amsterdam and Utrecht. Behind the cut you'll find pictures of all the pressies I bought for myself. If you want to see touristy photos of me and my new hair colour, follow the links to the complete travel-blogposts below. (WARNING: a lot of cam whoring, including pics in the bathtub. All worksafe of course *g*)

Goodies Amsterdam

From left to right:
  • Traintickets and moviestubs
  • Triple Chocolate Cookie
  • From American Book Centre: Point It (which was stolen during my trip to London in January)
  • Present for mom from Lush (where I had also bought bathbars for myself and brotherdearest)
  • American junkfood from delicatessen in Amsterdam: Mac&Cheese, CheesePopcorn, Poptarts
  • Wrapped up present for myself from Mail&Female: KamaSutra HoneyDust and a free condom (anyone?)
  • Bag from White Teeth Store: two ultra hard toothbrushes (Koh-i-Noor 795) angelwings and fancy toothpaste
  • From comicbookstore: Buffy The Vampire Slayer S8, Volume 2 + 3

  • Goodies Utrecht

I scored some really good books at Savannah Bay, most importantly the final part in the Green Carnation trilogy by Floortje Zwigtmans. I've been waiting for that book since 2007. Jelle hadn't told me it was released last week, because he wanted me to buy it at his favorite store. Bastard. Still: yay!

I KNOW! I CAN'T BELIEVE JELLE DIDN'T TELL ME ASAP, SO I COULD PREPARE. BASTARD.

As soon as I'm done with online-duties I'm gonna crawl into bed/on the couch/in my loveseat with the first two books.

    GET THEM BACK NOW!!

BUT I CANT, THEY JUST STARTED. WOE.

(I guess this gives me time to finish the two books I'm currently reading... I can be patient. I think...)

Don't edit while I'm replying, dammit.

Ooh, I think this was the last message on my to-answer list. Will now snuggle up with books and cookies.

I'm so glad I finished Audrey Niffenegger's book in the bathtub Fridaynight (also recommended by the way). I can now totally focus on Spiegeljongen.

Also: I have 2 (TWO!) Triple Chocolate Cookies.

Ugh, your life :p. But since I didn't get to go to Utrecht yesterday, I'm going next week and totally getting a cookie at the trainstation. OM NOM.

*blinks* Why haven't I comment on this yet?

Anyway... Awesome loot. And the next time we're in Amsterdam, you have to show me where that comicbook store is. *nods*

That store was a bit overwhelming. Next time I hope to be better prepared with titles to buy besides the Buffy S8 comics, maybe you can help me with that:)
