While I agree with the general idea Dawkins has here, as always, I think he would enjoy his writing more, had he used more irony and less blind hatred and insults. Why stoop to a lower lewel when you know you're right?

Funny thing is I didn't even notice the bile, until I read your comment and other people in the atheist community mentioned it as well. I guess Dawkins and I have reached the boilingpoint where we have trouble holding back. I know it's easy to ridicule the rituals and dress up, and it's not necessary when what's happened is so clearly very wrong, but to be honest, I don't see a single word in his arguments that isn't true.
And after the pope himself hinted the accusations were merely 'petty gossip' I say we need to make it as simple as possible to make them understand.
