Don't Panic
Oct. 10th, 2010 11:06 amI had a whole list of things to do this weekend and did do some of them, but then I started fiddling in Photoshop for the ReverseBang and I forgot all about the rest of the list and even dinner. Ahem. Luckily the artwork still is to my satisfacton after a night's sleep, so I suppose it was worth it *grins*
Here's yesterday in pictures (no, no, no revealing the artwork yet, I'm pretty sure that's against the rules of the
spn_reversebang.
*pouts* my sunglasses broke.

And of course October isn't done with sunny days yet.
What's with that out of season weather, Weather?
Children's BookWeek
If you buy a children's book during Children's BookWeek, you get a specially written children's book for free. I bought eight books. Only got one freebie. Still: yay, books! (I couldn't resist buying the whole newly designed series of Cary Slee. When I got home I found there is one more part. WANT! Look at them, all gorgeous with hardcover in black and gold)

Updated my booklist, obviously with:
Katarina Kieri - Majas Morsas Kompis Sambo (<--Original Swedish title,
Dutch translation-->) De Vriend Van De Vriendin Van De Moeder Van Maja Carry Slee - Spijt! Carry Slee - Kappen! Carry Slee - Afblijven Carry Slee - Radeloos Carry Slee - Hot Or Not Mirjam Oldenhave - Mees Kees In De Gloria Cornelia Funke - De Dievenbende van Scipio (Translated from German: Herr die Diebe) Daan Remmerts & Philip Hopman - Stimmy of Het Oerwoud In De Stad
I bought a ticket for Panic! At The Disco in Berlin on December 5th.

...I can't believe I bought a ticket for Panic! At The Disco in Berlin on December 5th. I'm old enough to be their mom, FFS.
Also: Berlin. I plan to travel back and forth on one day. Take the first train on Sunday morning and then the nighttrain back. It's a 6 hour ride, the nighttrain takes over 9 hours. *bites lip*
Also also: December 5th is Sinterklaas in The Netherlands. If you know me at all, you know that is a tradition I have celebrated with my family EVERY YEAR OF MY LIFE. Even when people were traveling all over the world, we would find a way to get together with whomever was in the country. This will be the first time ever, I won't be there. Because of Panic! At The Disco.
Yes.
Since I didn't do this yesterday, I now have to do the dishes (about two week's worth, so much for good intentions) and watch two CSI's before I'm off to mom for dinner and a visit to the Arthouse tonight.
And finally: 101010! The Answer to the Great Question, of Life, the Universe and Everything :-)
