Hello Nick/Greg fandom-authors, you still out there? Have you seen the latest CSI (S11Ep4 Sqweegel)? I expect you to agree with me that there is no way, NO WAY, Nick can dismiss the resemblance of this stalker case to his own experience with "that was a long time ago" and be done with it. NO WAY. It may be eight years ago, but he's bound to have emotional issues and since I fear TPTB won't provide them, I'm hoping authors in this fandom will deliver fic(lets) with nightmares and support from Greg to make it all better. Pretty, please?

If you've seen the episode and have an opinion, I would love for you to share it with me (or even the rest of fandom in this discussionpost in nickngreg.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm switching to my final fandom for this weekend. (Brotherdearest came over last night and we talked Harry Potter (I'm doing a marathon in November) and this morning we watched two episodes of Angel and a bonus Buffy in our everlasting rewatch. Good times:)
I've just watched the CSI mentioned above and plan to spend the rest of my weekend on J2 (Reverse Bang and reading:)

I was really surprised that they didn't even have him look startled! Come on! That was a major, traumatic event in his life and they glossed over it like it never existed!

Typical of the writers but still disappointing.

Fandom should fix it! Not that I've read any Nick and Greg (except for dear Carolines) in a million years but SOMEONE needs to fix this!

Of course Nick would be all big man and "it doesn't touch me" on the job. As long as there aren't kids involved, he does not get emotional, dammit! But I can see him breaking down at home. (Definitely in bed where your subconscious will get to you eventually)

I was amazed they even acknowledged the past, I had been quietly chanting 'mentionthestalker, mentionthestalker' as soon as Greg discovered that hole in the ceiling, but didn't expect TPTB to remember, so they get points for that at least.

I am not up to date with fics either (because the few new authors I want to read are all posting WiPs or chapter by chapter fics and I'm not torturing myself with that again) but surely some old author would know how to fix this? *innocent face* (And I say 'old' in the most loving and adoring way. Experienced is what I mean of course;)

I'm so happy the new season is still awesome. Eleven years and I'm just as excited about sitting down for an episode as I was in the beginning. *happy sighs*

I'm enjoying the new season as well. Surprisingly, I find I'm missing Grissom. Too bad he can't do a cameo.
