Had a marvelous birthday today!

At breakfast I opened artistic_sillie's package, which was filled with presents, yay!

Around 2.30 mom, Jan, Hans and Benthe arrived and after cake and presents (yay!) we spent the afternoon talking about baby Ruben. And possibly politics and life in general *grins*

In the evening we walked through the snow (and a bit of rain) to the restaurant and had a delicious dinner. (I'm still so full, oh my)

Yay for a most excellent birthday! I cannot even fathom eating all that food. I would feel so awful for being full after the soup and appetizers *g*! Love all the presents, too - so much great loooot! <3

Ah appetizers, that's the word I was looking for. Well, they worked! So many awesome flavours in the main-course I had to taste them all.

Brilliant loot. My bookpile for 2011 already looks rather impressive now.
