Books please?
Jun. 8th, 2011 04:34 pmI've added three reviews to my book-community
thej2bee:
Manneken Pis: A Simple Story Of A Boy Who Peed On A War - Vladimir Radunsky Stimmy of Het Oerwoud In De Stad - Daan Remmerts de Vries & Philip Hopman The Adventuress - Audrey Niffenegger
I'm hoping to post more reviews soon; I have a couple written in Dutch already, I plan to translate those this week. Luckily my bookpile is gone, so I have time;)
But even though I still have tons of fiction from the
spn_cinema challenge to read while the
spn_j2_bigbang stories are already pouring in, I still would like to hear BOOKRECOMMENDATIONS! So, tell me:
- what was your favorite book this year/of all time?
- what author should I try / read more of?
You can get an idea of my eclectic taste from my crossed out readinglist!

I was in de bookstore yesterday -during my afternoonbreak- when I remembered I had planned to complete my Artur Japin collection. And they had a special offer on one of his novels, so I treated myself to "De Overgave" \o/
Plus yeah, BigBang; I'm gonna fill my e-reader with that as soon as I'm finished reading the Cinema Challenge (two stories left!)
