After last week's first experience with the CureTape my Physical Therapist put two shorter pieces on my arm. These were easier to cover up, so I could do... the dishes! Only the edges were a little damp afterwards.

But when I took a shower this morning, the cut off glove I used to protect the tape didn't really work and the tape got loose, so I took it off. And that wasn't that bad, but in the afternoon a red pattern came up on my arm: a rash! Probably the combination of stessed out skin and the incredible heat today (32C) It only itches when I sweat and seems to be slowly fading. Hopefully it's gone tomorrow, but I'm definitely not gonna put new tape on my arm. :(

The glue might be giving you an allergic reaction. Or the tape itself. Your poor arm! The healing process can be so slow.

It could be, but it didn't give me any issues the first time. I still blame the heat;) I'm just glad the rash doesn't hurt and it does look like it's fading all by itself, pfew. Don't need more issues with my arm.

I got a reaction to that same sort of tape. It seems that the adhesive is a common trigger for rashes. I hope it's gone soon.

I never had a reaction like this to anything, but I'll be sure to tell the PT about it, so they can warn others.

Heehee, I like the superhero idea, I sure beat those dirty dishes \o/
