Look what you've done!
Aug. 1st, 2011 09:20 amI'm not even done with my artwork for my second BigBang claim and I've already signed up for a new challenge. Wasn't sure if I could (seeing my issues with homework haven't improved at all since highschool;) but I feel inspired after fiddling with all the pretty pictures I collected in the last few months *grins* So, artists (and authors!) on my flist, consider yourself poked for the
spn_reversebang!

Tried to post the next rant last Monday, but then of course LJ got under attack and I never managed to get on properly until today.
Look what I found when I got to the busstop. Ironically that busstop is called 'Happiness'. Yeah, not so much.
The only bicycles that were still standing were the ones that were parked that morning. (They didn't have any dew on them).
Parked my bike anyway (didn't really have a choice). When I got back in the afternoon I found my bikebags were emptied out. Someone took my waterproofpants. Dammit. Of course it was raining.
I guess I should be happy at least my bike wasn't damaged.
For some time now I've been meaning to contact the buscompany/municipality to ask for a shelter, I suppose this is the reason there isn't one :(
(I expect I will be able to go back to my trusty old busstop -that has a shelter- when the huge constructionproject on the highway is done around August 2012...)
My vacation started today \o/ Will of course spent my time fiddling for the BigBang, but also plan to clean out my guestroom (to find the source of the weird smell that's emanating from there...), do my finances, refresh Pottermore frantically to get in early registration, do laundry and start packing for my trip to London (on Thursday!).
If anything exciting happens in the meantime, I'll let you know *pats LJ*

Date: 2011-08-01 09:41 am (UTC)Ugh - not a nice sight at the bus stop! Why do people do that? We have a shelter at my bus stop, and it took about a week from they put it up until one of the glass walls was shattered. (and of course it isn't being replaced - and they haven't put up a shelter on the bus stop accross the street) It really annoy me that people destroy so much property.

Date: 2011-08-01 07:19 pm (UTC)I have a busstop right across my house and on special occassions, like New Year's Eve, it always ends up broken (it's why I spent that night at my mom's; I fear I would want to go outside to beat up whomever is doing that. Not good for my sanity;)

Date: 2011-08-01 06:35 pm (UTC)... There's a weird smell in the guestroom? Did I leave a sock behind? :p

Date: 2011-08-01 07:23 pm (UTC)Heehee, no I don't think so (haven't found it anyway*g*) Actually the smell was already there when I made you two sleep in there - I'm so sorry. I think I found the problem though: there was a box with old musty books and schoolstuff hidden in a corner. (I hope you didn't mind or notice;)
