My name is J. and I'm 41 years old. This morning I shaved my legs for the first time in my life.

I feel like a traitor. Especially since I'm wearing my I Am What I Am T-shirt today.

I don't want to perpetuate the myth that women are smooth all over.
At least I still have my mustache.

No shame. You know what's super awesome? Sliding into bed with freshly shaved legs and freshly washed sheets. It's one of my favorite sensations ever.

I really don't want to change my sheets right now :-p
I'm glad I gave it a try; I did feel better wearing my short jeans. (even if I felt guilty for giving a damn)

And there's no shame at all, dear. :-) If my hair wasn't so dark, I'd probably avoid shaving year-round!

I don't want it to matter what society dictates and yet I felt a little less akward wearing shorts. But I'm not sure if I'm up for the maintenance.
