This is an extended thank you to people and sites that provided inspiration and material for my November and December Artwork:)

For backgrounds and brushes I mostly use photos I made myself. For images of the actors who play a part in the stories, I often make screencaps from films and tv. However: if the story is RPS, I prefer to use photos of the actors in their 'natural' habitat. Sadly I've not had the pleasure to see these people up close and personal (and use them as my posing puppets) so I look for images and inspiration on the world wide web...

Sources and sites
It really is impossible to mention all the places where I found the photos I used; sometimes I simply forget to keep track because I also collect photos for my personal archive when I'm not participating in a particular challenge. If you notice original material that you are the owner of or know the origin of, tell me and I will add the information to this post.

Obviously credit goes to the original photographers, but when their names are not available, I'm listing sites where I found most of my images instead.

This time I added a lot of photos to my Jeffrey Dean Morgan collection:
- jeffreydeanmorganunlimited
- jeffreydeanmorganfans
- jdm picspam by [livejournal.com profile] linndechir
- jdmorgan.info

I made screencaps from:
- Supernatural (S1 and S2)
- P.S. I Love You (naked JDM!)
- The Accidental Husband

Jeff and his dogs Bisou and Bandit: from DonateJDM, a birthday fund raising project by fans of Jeffrey Dean Morgan that supports a no kill rescue shelter for dogs.

You may not even notice this, but I was also inspired by the restaurant that features in the story. I grabbed some elements from the wonderful website of Tillman's Roadhouse
Webdesign: Reeves Design House. Check out the food, I desperately want to go there some day.

---Enchanted---
I put a lot of stuff from my home in the artwork for this challenge, for example the banner features the photoframe that holds my baby-picture:

Ahw.

I made a brush-pattern out of a picture of my wallpaper (the actual wallpaper in my hallway;) I decorated the room with my own curtains, floor and lamp.

Besides my own photos from my bedroom, cities and clouds, I also used screencaps from Supernatural and the film Enchanted as reference, you can find all the original images here

---It Had To Be You---
For the notice board I made some original documents and manipulated several photos; I changed clothes, heads and colours to fit my prompt. Here's the background on these images:

In the prompt the focus is on a Halloween party: I made a poster in QuarkXpress (the TTU party people P2 logo is drawn in Illustrator) and added two polaroids with Jared (and best bud Chad Michael Murray) in a Dracula costume, going a bit wild while Jensen in a quite classy devil's outfit raises his eyebrows.
The original photos were found on Fanpop, I added the costumes and accessories:)

Next to the poster is Jared's acceptance letter for TTU, this was also written in QuarkXpress, all logos in Illustrator. There is mention of Student Advisor Jeffrey Dean Morgan and it's signed by Dean Eric Kripke. (Copied by hand from an autographed picture I found online;)

There is also a photo of Jared with his dogs (I imagined he had to leave them at home with his parents and misses them - and his parents;). If I remember correctly this photo came from the Supernatural Wiki. No manipulation on this one.

The photo of fake drunk Jared was only available to me in black and white, I added colours.

On the photo of the couch Jensen is on top of Chris Kane, Misha Collins and Michael Rosenbaum. Most of my ideas about them come from existing fandom tropes: Mike Rosenbaum is the confident ringleader, Misha Collins would be the enigma: a quiet friend, who says profound things when his input is most needed and Chris Kane is of course a best friend/drinking buddy who would shove Jensen into action.
The original photo popped up on Tumblr and featured other real life friends of Jensen, who was indeed part of the guy-pile;) I changed the heads of the other guys to fit my fantasy.

After I manipulated the photos I made prints on glossy paper and arranged them on my own notice board. Other items in the image are also part of my personal stuff (I like skeletons:)

I meant to come look at this yesterday, but... um... I forgot. *is embarrassed*

As you know, my knowledge about art is nil, but I did very much enjoy reading about the sources you've used (and checking them out!) and how you created the pieces.

And it still tickles me to no end that you found Tillman's. I want to go there, too. Yum yum. :)

Okay, I'm gonna say it one more time... I had such a blast working with you, I wouldn't trade it for anything!!!

I spent quite some time at the Tillman's site, drooling. And those were just pictures! We should totally plan to go there;)

Dito on the working together!
