LiveJournal's leadership has made it clear that their future American business strategy lies in generating new traffic rather than catering to the service's current small-but-loyal membership. Yeah, and then from a secondary source! They could've at least put out at PR-ish note with "bla, trying to attract new traffic, bla". This is pretty much a slap in the face for all people who've been paying for the service. :-/

I really hate that they keep suggesting to be 'listening to our concerns' in the official news-posts. FFS, own up to not giving a damn.
