I'm still working on collecting pictures and transscribing notes from the Ecuador part of my trip, but on my way back to Europe I visited my little brother Hans in New York and he already posted his pictures from the first two days I was there. He's not big on words, but you'll get a nice impression of last weekend...
But before I lead you there I have to warn you about Big Nick's...
because that name just sounded very promising *g*
A couple of months ago Hans discovered a restaurant called 'Big Nick's' and of course I just *had* to go there. It made me think of
geekwriter143's wonderful story One Good Man :-p (for the links to the photo-log I used quotes from chapter 2 to prove my point;)
That story is very NC17 by the way, but the pictures are totally innocent and worksafe. The cheesecake I had at Big Nick's was not: it was the BEST FUCKING CHEESECAKE I ever tasted and it gave me all sorts of feelings. I think I had a little moment there and it shows in the photo;)
"Jesus," Greg whispered [...]"You're big."
(Link to Saturday August 19: I'd arrived on Fridaynight around 02.30 in the morning and it took us more than two hours to get to Hans' appartment in Brooklyn. We slept until about eleven and in the afternoon we took the subway-train to Manhattan for some sightseeing and diner at *that* restaurant;)
"Mmmm," Nick rocked against him slowly. "You like 'em big?"
(Link to Sunday August 20: lazy laundry, amazing exhibition and hanging in Central Park: people-pictures and a random shot of chairs)
Ehm, I'll try to be more coherent for the next part of my travel-blog:)
