beelikejAnother schoolday: two hours conversation-groupclass and then one on one with Omayra for grammar. She's willing to spend even more time talking as long as I practice my verbs for homework:)
After lunch I walk to Park El Ejid where I spend most of my time sitting on a bench to write postcards. Some drunk guy is trying to make conversation. Yeah, right. A polite guy from a children's home has more luck. Of course he wants a contribution at the end but since I got to practice speaking Spanish (and I saw it coming) I'm being a decent person;)
In between writing I stroll along the little market at the edge of the park. I love the people here; it's very nice to be able to check out all the stuff without being harrassed to buy anything (like in Indonesia or Egypt).
At Rosa's I have another siesta, that I have to end sooner than hoped, because Rosa is calling me for diner very early. Joff is also surprised when he finds food already on the table when he gets back at 07.00 p.m. OMFG he really is adorable. If only I was younger and braver ;o)
Next day: To the middle of the world!
