Is anyone else missing their sidebar on their friends' page? Could this be the first step towards that new design? *pouts* How very inconvenient, it has all my important links in it.

That's good to know. All I see is a empty black space where my sidebar used to be. Fortunately it's still visible in my journal, so at least I know it's out there somewhere. *bites lip* (probably not as adorably as Jensen;)

I see my friends page in my own view - and my sidebar is still there.
However - if I click that "View friends page in new style" link, I see an awful design, shudders and click back to old style. I want to view it in my own design thank you very much. I like it! That's why I designed it like that - because I LIKE IT!!!

I'm not using the new style yet and as part of my decoration preferences I don't have the bar on top to switch it on or off. But I certainly hope there will be a way to work around it.(Ocassionally LJ shows me the new post page and I immediately change it back to old style). The strange thing is that the sidebar has disappeared from my own style! *cue ominous music*

I'm still hoping it will be opt out or that TPTB change their mind altogether.

Hmmm, I haven't noticed any slowness. I still have issues with spam comments though.
