I'm pleased to see a lot of posts on my flist and I feel bad to only support the revival of LJ with a quicky today. But I did contribute already by updating [livejournal.com profile] nickngreg and then I lost a lot of time putting togeter that community's Tumblr queue for October and now I'm too tired to tell you about my whole -not too exciting- week.
Here's a short summary of my weekend: yesterday evening I found mousedroppings in my winterduvet, then I blew a fuse when I turned on the bathroom light and this morning I broke the screw that holds together my sink and broke a nail while attaching a key-chain to my new new backpack. FUN!

I'm glad I had already caught up on commenting on all the stories I read in the past few weeks, but I still have not written that reclist I promised. It will come, eventually. I did update my booklist and I started reading Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, but I'm having a bit of trouble getting used to the language; he uses a lot of adjectives, pfff.

Off to bed early tonight, because I have a feeling work is going to be crazy this week...

'Tis true, Bradbury's prose can be a bit flowery but it's still better than Hemingway's choppy sentences. (Apologies to any Hemingway lovers.) :D

Ah, yes "flowery" - That's the word I was looking for; I had it in my head, but wasn't sure if it was correct, thanks!

Heehee, I seem to remember quite liking Hemingway's simplicity, that could be because English is not my first language;) -That's my excuse anyway :-p
