Fandom Snowflake Challenge Day 1

beelikejI'd like to try being more active on LiveJournal* and bring some sort of regularity to my days, which I've been struggling with since becoming unemployed in September. So here's a daily blog challenge I'm participating in, which will give me something to post about for the first 15 days of the year:)
DAY 1 - In your own space, talk about why you are doing the Fandom Snowflake Challenge?
Ha, already kind of answered that above. On top of giving me an incentive to post every day, I also thought it was a nice opportunity to get back on track with fandom, since I felt I've been keeping to myself a little too much in the past few months. (For understandable reasons, mind you;) *I'll also to jumpstart my Dreamwidth journal again with x-posting here.
