beelikejI've contemplated whether I should post about this, since it involves other people, but this situation has a huge impact on my life and I thought it important that my friends know what's going on. My boss went on a business trip to Nigeria last week and yesterday we got this news: 3 Dutch nationals kidnapped in Niger Delta.
We've been talking to reporters all day yesterday and the situation is still unclear, except that we have confirmation about the identity of the people who were kidnapped, amongst who are indeed my boss and his businesspartner. Latest news is that the Nigerians have been released, but I have no additional information to what is already published in the (Dutch) media. I'm disabling comments on this, you know how to reach me.
