I'm working on answering that arting meme (your questions really make me evaluate my fanart!). In the meantime, help me pick out my next book to read? While I was busy reading BigBang fics in the past few months, my book pile kept growing and I can't decide which one to go for next.
I just finished Margaret Atwood's Wilderness Tips (A collection of stories I carried with me in case my fic-filled e-reader died on me) and this weekend I'm gonna do a quick read of Diggle "Jock" Martinbrough's De Losers, Twee Paar (a Dutch version of the comic that I bought because JDM played Clay in the movieversion;).
But what book should I take with me on my bus to and from work on Monday?

[Poll #1980345]

Tell me which one you think I should read next? Please and thank you!
(N.B. if you pick part one of Lynn Flewellings TT-trilogy, I of course will simply *have to* read the other two parts right after that;)

Lois McMaster Bujold's Vorkosigan series--best books ever!--you can start with either 'Cordelia's Honor' or 'Young Miles'--I hope you give her a try!

Thank you for the rec; I'm always looking for new female authors to add to my collection. I'll check out that series on my next bookshoppingspree:)
I do need to get through a bit of my current bookpile first though; I decided to go with Ginn Hale - Lord Of The White Hell first... MMMmmmm, reading.

I rec Bone Doll's Twin (and its other two parts) to friends in RL all the time. In fact, I might have to go read it again now. It's so good; I really enjoyed the series.

I also rec the Wraeththu series by Storm Constantine and the Troy Game series by Sara Douglass whenever possible. :)

I honestly can't wait to try that trilogy, I devoured Lynn Flewelling's Nightrunner series and so love the world she created, even if the Tamír Triad doesn't have Seregil and Alec in it yet. (If you haven't tried that yet, get Luck In The Shadows NOW!)
But Lynn was outvoted by a couple RL votes; I'm starting with Ginn Hale - Lord Of The White Hell. That looks like a fast read, so I will most likely start in The Bone Doll's Twins next week at the latest:)

Thanks for the additonal recs, will check those on my next trip to the bookdepository:)

I haven't read any other books by Lynn Flewelling yet, but I definitely should seeing as how much I enjoyed the Tamir Triad. I have so many books I need to read, not to mention a ton of Big Bangs to catch up on.

I still have to catch up on commenting on BigBang fics and have a couple of stories left on my readinglist as well. Why is there never enough time?

The Nightrunners series is absolutely awesome; it even has a special timestamp edition with fanart! Book seven (Shards of Time) came out in April (and Lynn said it was the last one, but seeing as there was nine years in between book 3 and 4, I will not stop hoping for these adventures to continue for ever;) I wrote a review of book 1 and 2 if you want to see if it appeals to you. The story takes place in the same world as the Tamír Triad, but several hundred years (and a couple of queens) later:)
