Busy

Hey y'all!
I'm still here, no worries. It's just that besides fiddling for the BigBang, I'm crazy busy with work and looking for work. Applying for jobs is tiresome, bleeech. I'm glad I can somewhat distract myself with arts & crafts AND preparations for my trip to the USA and tmn1966 in August. (If anyone is interested in meeting up with us, you can read more about that here!)

In addition to all of the above keeping me from posting, I've also been rather down and in a bad state of mind. (The kind where I think nobody cares anyway and nothing I have to say is of any interest, yuch). I'm struggling with the prospect of losing my job in September and I can't seem to find the right rhythm in life at the moment. At least while I'm still working I can focus on the job, but days off are difficult because that's when my brain goes wild. Currently I'm trying to find peace of mind by sleeping a lot (not staying up until the small hours) - another reason why I'm not online as much;)

I still keep an eye on all of you thanks to my new fancy phone and I'm making an effort not to get too far behind. If I did miss anything important, don't hesitate to poke me and let me know!

Hey, there you are... you're def. not the only one who's fallen off the face of LJ, so that seems to be going around a bit.

*hugs* Sorry you've been feeling down. Job searching is not fun and draining and I really hope a company will see how awesome you are soon. Also, I was thinking the other day that it's high time we meet up again soon. Maybe we can even art a little together, if you'd like.

I have added a lot of people to my flist lately, just to fill the holes left by the people who moved away. I myself am spending most of my active online time on Twitter, because it's so much quicker to comment;)

Ooooh, fangirl-get-together, yes. Must think about that, seeing as I'm quite busy, but if we don't manage to pick a date before my trip to the USA, I have some vacation time left when I get back. Will mail you!

Yeah, I've been adding quite a few people myself as well. It's a lot more active now, but I do miss some of the familiar faces.

I can totally see why hunting for new job would play tricks on your brain. Uncertainty had a tendency to make us doubt ourselves. We kind of are what we do - and if you don't know what you will do after September, then that might make you doubt your self worth.  Our job seems to be our status these days...

Arting is always fun..... I am having so much fun worth my bigbangs this year - and I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Funny how cellphones (the not crap versions like I had before) connects us to the world. I used to be on twitter once a year - now I remember it exist maybe even multiple times a week!! 😁

Ahw yeah, well maybe we can make a European trip thing sometime next year;)

I did indeed realize the job was who I was and it was very hard to deal with that and change my way of thinking. I am glad I can at least take part of that creativity to my personal life, whatever job I find next.

Twitter is definitely my main hang-out on my phone, see you there;)
