USA Roadtrip: the countdown has begun!

With my BigBang-artwork done, it hit me this weekend that I only have two weeks (TWO WEEKS!!!) to go before my trip to the USA and meeting tmn1966 in real life!
We were thrilled with the response to our announcement from all of y'all who want to hang out during our Route 66 Roadtrip from Ohio to Texas <3
(Calling on dugindeep, cassiopeia7, zubeneschamali, quickreaver, bt_kady and sienata to confirm that we included your location in our schedule below!)

After lots of mails back and forth we came up with the following tentative route.
If YOU (yes, you) are interested in getting together for a drink, lunch, dinner or a sleep over PLEASE PM EITHER OF US so we can exchange email and phonenumbers for specific dates and times to meet up! Even if you just want to wave at us driving by, we'd love to know:) You can also directly mail me at beelikej@gmail.com.

OUR ROADTRIP INTINERARY
Wednesday, August 5th
START! Travel to Columbus, OH for lunch
Travel on to Dayton, OH and probably Indianapolis, IN
Stay overnight near Indianapolis

Thursday, August 6th
Travel from Indianapolis to Champaign, IL
Travel to Vandalia, IL to see The Kaskakia Dragon \o/
Begin travel to Carthage, MO
Stop somewhere in between for the night

Friday, August 7th
Finish travel to Carthage, MO
Watch movie at Route 66 Drive In \o/
Stay overnight somewhere near the theater

Saturday, August 8th
Get up early to travel to Texas for family lunch
Stay overnight near Dallas, TX

Sunday, August 9th
Explore Dallas area
Have dinner at our mystery destination*
Stay overnight near Dallas, TX

Monday, August 10th
Begin travel to Hutchinson, KS
Stay overnight en route or close to Hutchinson

Tuesday, August 11th
Continue travel to Hutchinson, KS
Travel to Lawrence, KS
Possibly begin travel to Chicago, IL
Stay overnight somewhere after Lawrence, KS

Wednesday, August 12th
Begin or travel to Chicago, IL
Stay overnight near Chicago

Thursday, August 13th
Begin travel back
Possible overnight stay

Friday, August 14th
Arrive back at tmn1966's home.
END
(I will be flying back to the Netherlands on Sunday evening August 16.)


We also welcome any suggestions for places to visit or local specialities to try.

*Oh and if you're curious about our mystery destination, you can find it in our 2011 SPN Reverse Bang collaboration Fool Hearted Man; that's when we bonded through our love for Jensen/JDM;)

I'm not sure whereabouts you'll be in Chicago, but since it's during the week, I'll be at work and best set for meeting up at lunch, dinner, or happy hour! I work right by the Sears Willis Tower, if that helps at all with locations!
