Yesterday I celebrated my 46th birthday \o/
Thank you, tmn1966, for the very funny interactive e-card; cassiopeia7 for naked JDM; amberdreams for the Glasses!Jeff and J3 photos & sillie82 for the SPN/CSI picspam; whiskygalore for dedicating a Jeff/Jensen fic to me; fireheart13 & bflyw for the Livejournal messages; alycat, ashtraythief, kennsea, @MnMDes, tanisafan, sillie82, fredbear, nielsvaneekelen and eledhwenlin for all the tweets:)
LJ only randomly send me notifications, so if I missed anything, let me know! *rolls around in all the bday love*

Partytime!

I baked meringues for the first time! I also made my famous sweet & salt arretjescake (no photos of that;)


In the morning I opened parcels from tanisafan and sillie82, who had brought a big box of presents when she came over two weeks ago.
My family came over in the afternoon: I blew out the candles on my pirate party cake while they sung Lang Zal Ze Leven ("Long May She Live" - our traditional Dutch Happy Birthday song:) Hurrah!


Family fun: Gayleen and Ruben are playing a game, while my mom and Jan admire my brother Jaap's new tablet:)

In the evening my mom, Jan and I went out for dinner, I had sizzling beef (you can hear it in the video!) It was sooo good. *rubs tummy*

Love your pirate cake!

Hubby and me are visiting Amsterdam in the summer for the athletics, maybe we could meet up for lunch sometime (are you based in Amsterdam??)

Cool beans, will do! We are staying 4 nights in Antwerp first then in Amsterdam from 6-10th July watching the athletics, so meeting up will depend on the timetable of events. But I'll deffo contact you nearer the time!
