No, that number is correct, I didn't skip ahead; I did participate in Challenge 20, but due to a low response, that challenge will be reposted in Phase 12. As it is a voting challenge, I can't show my designs for that yet, because I want to submit them again:) Challenge 21 was a spot the difference puzzle, so no art had to be made for that.
Thus we arrive at challenge 22, where we could choose between making wallpapers or postcards (800x500). I picked the latter, because that was a new medium for me. It also had to include text which added an extra difficulty, as I'm not a writer.
Design had to focus on a (relation)ship that ended in tragedy, with on the back a letter written from the person who is gone to the one still around.
Get your hankies ready!

TEXT
I wanted the text to look as authentic as possible, so for Archie's card I searched for a vintage looking script. That font is Cezanne and it's actually based on the handwriting of the painter Paul Cézanne! Available for free at FontPalace

The font for Tara's card is Mismatch, by watercolorfloraldesigns (for sale at TheHungryJpeg - If you sign up for their newsletter, you'll be notified when they give out fonts for free:)
The text on the front of that card is KissMeKissMeKissMe by Fat Cat Fonts; I thought that was an appropriate choice here;)

SOURCES
Hornblower
I went through a lot of emotions trying to find the right images and words. For the first postcard I ended up with an edit of the last conversation Archie has with Horatio <3 For a good cry Here's a video of that scene. *sniffles*
Text paraphrased from Retribution (2002)
Screencaps from The Even Chance (1998); The Dutchess and the Devil (1999); Mutiny (2002).
Background: painting Hornblower and the Indefatigable by Robert Taylor (prints for sale at Brooksart.com)
Back of postcard: found a whole collection of old postcards on Fuzzimo.com (available for download here
Stamps: the Penny Black (GB1840) from wikipedia. (I put it upside down for 'I love you';)

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
