beelikejYay, I had time to choose another short story to make art for in the ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
quicky_bang! I had originally planned to do a digital design, but then this fic had a sexy visual that I had the perfect paper for it, so I was inspired to create another papercut piece.
I had a fun time (un)dressing Sam, find out in the fic how Dean feels about it!

Summary: Sam has a surprise for Dean on his birthday. Dean is very very surprised.
Every time I play with paper I learn more techniques and tricks. I'm still not the most organized when I start out with my silly sketches, but I'm getting better at making some sort of plan. It helps that the days are getting longer and I have more light available for extended photoshoots due to fiddling too much;)
The Making of
The wrapping paper with the lacy print and my penicl sketch.
See why I thought of this paper when I read 'red lacy boxers'? As a first set up I also cut and folded a bow from the paper itself.
Thought of using a smirky Sam in the background, but ditched that idea.
Gratuitous close up of perky nip and bow number two!
Figuring out a back ground, I had typical patterned motelroom sheets in mind. Found the perfect (discolored!) fit in this marble paperbook by Craft Sensations.
Cutting "creases" to give the impression of the body sinking into the sheets.
Cutting a separate right arm to create more depth.
Making a fancy ribbon for Sam's boxers. Noticed the cut of the underwear didn't show enough leg, so took it off to create a smaller pair;)
Doing some digital fiddling to figure out the size and shape of Sam's face.
Cutting a new face, including Sam's mole:)
Adding a pink paper layer behind it and finishing the look with proper Sam hair. \o/
Wasn't happy with the left hand and arm, so made a more anatomically correct version.
Handwritten title to make it more personal.
Ready for the photoshoot!
Tadaah! The final shot was the one.
(Lightened it up a tiny bit digitally and added our names)
