landofart graphic design posts. This is the first round of the Hide & Seek challenge that runs through the whole phase. You create a piece of art based on the theme/technique that you want to vote on and the themes with the most votes will continue on to the next round.
I'll put the bigger pieces behind the cut, have some sigtags as teaser with the chosen theme/technique underneath.
Chairoscuro - Strong Contrasts between light and dark
Typography - Is about using different fonts, and how you place them.
Tumblr Graphics
Knockout Text - An image is used to formulate your text. Which means your background image must be seen in your text.
Pop Art Style - It's about the cartoony effects, the hard edges, making the color pop, the old timey textures.
Double Exposure - Blending or Merging two images together using exposure
Double Exposure - Blending or Merging two images together using exposure
Cut Out - Cut a character, or thing out of a background and putting it onto a new background
Unsurprisingly two of my favorite themes (Double Exposure & Pop Art Style) were cut, so I get to try other techniques in Round 2;)
