The day after...

beelikejI feel a bit sad today. I guess it's the big contrast between the overload of fun in the weekend in comparison with the return back to a normal weekday. That last part is not entirely true, since I took a day off today, so I didn't have to get up early and go straight back to work after the wonderful slashy weekend *g*.

artistic_sillie even though I have to confess it was a bit exhausting since I'm not used to not being alone for such a long time. But I can't think of a better person to spend my weekend with:-) In between talking about fandom and life in general (it's seriously scary how we agree on a lot of stuff) we managed to watch a lot of CSI.
Catching up on season 7 was heaven, especially since now I don't have to worry about spoilers anymore and I can allow myself to return to the communities again:) Also much love for the continuity on Greg's story-line and the scenes our boys shared together. "Boo hiss!" for anyone who wanted to hurt Greg and a "Please come back, we will not mock you anymore" to Nicky's hair.
Even better (nearly;) than watching the new season was our trip down memory lane with the Slashy-soap-opera story line: we picked all the episodes with must-see scenes between our OTP. And after watching them in chronological order we have no doubts left: Nick & Greg are totally shagging *g*":
We decided the first time they spent the night together* was right before 'A Little Murder': Nick is obviously wearing Greg's shirt and in the microscope-scene between the guys Greg reassures Nick he's welcome anytime ('I'm open 24 hours') Lovely.
It truely was fun focusing on the subtext instead of the crime-scenes. We do miss the flirting from season 1 and especially season 2, but we are very happy the guys got together. Of course they have to keep a low profile at work, but if TPTB just throw us a bone every now and then with 'a wave of love' or some desertporn, we will be satisfied:-)
Whatever happens in this new season, thanks to that 'declaration of love' in Rashomana we are confident the guys will be able to handle it.
ETA: *) okay, so they work nights and spend most of their nights together, so obviously this is an euphemism for 'sleeping together', which by itself is another way of saying they fucked each other's brains out to the point of exhaustion and when they woke up Nick didn't have any time to go back to his own place to change
