Oh trust me, I am So Right There With You. I mean granted, I live in the goddamn ghetto but they've been at it all week here.

Even though it's illegal, people in my neighbourhood (supposedly one of the poorer areas in town) have been blasting away fireworks since the end of October! And when shops officially started selling fireworks today, all hell broke loose. They sure take the fun out of New Years Eve. By the time it's allowed, I will have had enough. :-(
