Bleech: my throat hurts. Ate a lot of licorice today. Didn't help. :-(
Had a busy day at work that seemed to last forever.
Got home, crashed on the couch - fell asleep. Woke up with 'Valerio in the snow' on TMF (music-channel). He is such a cutie:)
I have no shame: I also watched a very old episode of Bottom ('Burglary').
"Excuse me sir, there is something up your nose"
"Ah, yes, I've been sleepdoodling again. ... I'm very bad at it."
:-D

- did you ever see Grim Tales? That's when I was definitely lost. But ofcourse I've been worshipping him since the early eighties:)
"And if I may say so, what a charming smashing blouse you've got on."

Date: 2007-02-28 09:02 pm (UTC)And I actually just came across Grim Tales two weeks ago, because of that project were doing: it was about folk tales, and my obsessed-with-all-things-British friend Heleen showed me a couple as an example of animated storytelling ;).
Aw man. Now I want to watch Blackadder.

"Enter the man who wears no underwear, ask me why!"
-"Why do you wear no underwear, Lord Flash?"
"Because the pants haven't been built yet that can take the job on! Woof!"

Your icons rock, hee. Birthday icons are an awesome pressie.
Good luck! I found 'em easily enough, have fun with them! (Oh and did you know there are entire Coupling episodes on youtube (in three parts)? I wasted so much time rewatching all my favourite monologues, lol!)

Date: 2007-03-01 08:51 pm (UTC)Found Rik easily, but I noticed The Grim Tales were only posted earlier this month (ehm February), just after I gave up looking;)
I'm making a whole favorites play-list in my YouTube account. He is so f-ing great:)
I never saw the appeal of Coupling until they started re-runs late at night;) I still haven't seen a lot of eps, but love the quotes. - I was planning on pasting the cushion-discussion, but this one won:
When God made the arse, he didn't say, 'Hey, it's just your basic hinge, let's knock off early.' He said, 'Behold ye angels, I have created the arse. Throughout the ages to come, men and women shall grab hold of these, and shout my name!

Date: 2007-03-01 09:05 pm (UTC)Jack Davenport? Is so damn cuddlesome. Seriously. Everyone loves Pirates otC because of Johnny and Orlando, but I saw them because of Jack, heh. My favourite monologue is the one with the Lesbian Spank Inferno. Brilliance!
Although the cushion-one comes in second. Because there's a Dalek reference, and because I'm a great big geek :P.
