Heh. Had an overdose of chocolate after diner, took two aspirines and was treated to 'Hot Fuzz' at the Sneak Preview. Simon Pegg is a genius writer and actor, he managed to make me feel a lot better: that's quite an accomplishment considering the ferocity of this month's pms-attack.
Finished reading: Maassluis by Maarten 't Hart - two stories about the innocence of childhood. Lovely.
Started reading at the cinema*: De Brug by Geert Mak

Date: 2007-03-27 06:40 pm (UTC)Hot Fuzz is brilliant. Like 'Shaun of the Dead' it's the perfect mix of comedy and drama. So much more than a simple spoof of (buddy)-copmovies. I find it amazing how you get to actually care about those crazy characters. I was almost biting my nails!
Music and Lyrics is all about the chemistry between Hugh and Drew:)
Thanks for the Rik-quote:) Bastards, indeed!
