Ehm, I'm not doing so well at the moment. I function best at temperatures around 13-14 °C and it's very sunny and about 27°C at the moment, so I'm a mess. Plus I've been having a headache for the past three days. And despite my good intentions, the dizzyspells have not dissapeared.
I've been to the doctor again last Thursday. We still haven't figured out what is wrong with me; bloodworks, bloodpressure, food intake and sleep-regime are all fine (...), for now there is no specific cure or solution to fight the dizzyspells. So this is the plan:
I'm really trying. But this warm weather (in April!?!) is making me cranky and I prefer to stay inside, near my dear 'puter. To take my mind of the temptation I bought clay, so I can go arts-and-craftsy offline. Plus dirty hands will make it more dificult to handle the keyboard... Hopefully;)
I also plan to crawl up in my loveseat to read and this afternoon/night I will sit down in the attic to watch Hellbent and the latest CSI. Good plans, yes?
The only digital creative 'thing' I will allow myself to work on, is the challenge
tanisafan tempted me to take...
prehistoric_sea is pimping the The Gay Pulp Challenge

I signed up for artwork with Nick/Greg, inspired by the following prompts:
C. The Man From C.A.M.P. (Don Holliday, 1966)
Move over James Bond! Meet the Man from C.A.M.P., a mild-mannered middle-aged super-spy who just happens to belong to a secret organization dedicated to the protection and advancement of homosexual causes. Sometimes, as in this light-hearted farce about an international diamond heist, carrying out C.A.M.P.'s mission means battling evil, sex-deviate master criminals determined to sully the good name of law-abiding gays everywhere.
and
V/W. Gay Vigilante (Frederick Rayborg, 1972)
Living conditions are so harsh in the heyday of the California Gold Rush that love can exist in a man's life only like a splinter that has become embedded in his heart, too painful to ever pull out. Holt rides into the frontier village of Grand Toros to find Mike Blade, the man who gunned down Holt's lover Troy back in Dodge City. Now that there's a gay vigilante in town who's hell-bent on revenge, the Wild West is going to get a whole lot wilder!
I've never done one of these challenges before, so I hope it works out. I've got until May 23rd, that should give me plenty of time to play:)
And now I will turn off the computer, after leaving you with another quote from Third Rock From The Sun, to give you a little more (TM)I about my current state of mind and body:
"Oh, how exciting. I am SO glad I get to be the woman. Next planet I get to be something BIG... WITH HORNS!"
Bye, behave while I'm stuck in the real world, okay? *waves*

- I'm gonna get my eyes tested - since the problem could be related to spending
all my timea lot of time on a computer (went to the opticion yesterday, made another appointment for when I haven't been behind a computer beforehand...) - I will keep a diary of the dizzyspells: when do they occur, how long do they last and what was I doing when it hit me. I also need to write down what I do to make the world stop spinning... (I made a lovely notebook with pictures of David T and George E on the covers for comfort;)
- On my next doctor's appointment we will make an audiogram (three weeks from now)

Date: 2007-04-16 06:31 am (UTC)And heh, I love Kristin Johnson *sniggers*.
Sorry to hear you're still feeling crappy, the weather's not doing me much good either. Also, the migraines have passed, but for that to happen I had to give up coffee. Bastard life.
Sometimes taking a little time away from the compy is good. If anything, it makes you appreciate the online time even more ;).
*hugs you*

Date: 2007-04-16 08:01 pm (UTC)Well, trying to cut down computertime, to me that's as bad as giving up coffee. Life sucks.
[Sally starts crying]
Dick Solomon: My god, what are you doing?
Sally Solomon: [Wipes her tears] Apparently I'm leaking!

Date: 2007-04-16 08:04 pm (UTC)Well, we are working on it. Actually, I'm working on it. I guess the doctor is just waiting for the result of my research. Hey: I'm doing her job! Hmmm.
I still have to open the package, but I've got a lot of ideas in my head, so when I finally get round to getting out the clay it's gonna be fun:)
