Oh my, I remember that song. So. Freaking. Cute. Look at the outfits! Hee!

And hey, we had our one and only victory in 1986. *remembers fondly*

Yay for purple pants *snickers*. Althugh, dude, she's really gorgeous these days.

I haven't ever really watched the whole thing, but I remember that there was one song, a couple of years back, that I really loved. I wish I remembered what it was called. It was this Latvian Beatles-like band, I think.

And for some reason, Youtube forgot to work. Second attempt:

Apparently you can't embed in comments anymore (because you need to use that 'embed media')? But I found the clip. Wow: shoulder pads! The dancing is also very eighties. I remember an outrage because she was so very young and therefore no fair competition. (We are not bitter, but we totally should have won: Frizzle Sizzle!)

I heard from my brother that Serbia won yesterday (I didn't watch out of protest against the semi-final system;) That happened to be the one song I thought was okay to win: nice lyrics, good melody and a decent presentation. Now if we are all allowed to play next year I might start watching again.

Boo YouTube, boo! And yeah I heard that Serbia won, but the song was actually sung in Serbian and not English so I'm willing to accept it ;).
Aw man, I love the shoulderpads. I remember no outrage because, um, I was two *blushes* but I seem to recall that's she said in recent interviews that she was actually barely 14 and not 15, which was the minimum age to compete. We totally cheated our way to our only victory. That makes me sad and gleeful all at once. Hmm.

And ha, I remember the title of that song I liked: My Star.

I think we should blame lj for this, not YouTube *pets YT*

I don't want to pretend I understood a single word she was singing, but on the official eurovision-website all the songs are conveniently translated in english and french;)

Cheaters! I'm surprised Belgium didn't win more often, so I forgive you;)

Hmmm, doesn't ring a bell, I might have to check up on that. When I'm not at work...

*back to business*

True, let's not diss the YouTube. I repent!
Heh, yes, we are cheaters. But hey, it's the one thing we're good at, so leave us be ;).

It was an amazingly cute song. I should look it up too. Because even though work is overrated, we don't want to get sacked, now do we? :p

Good girl;)

Oh my, I'm setting such a bad example. But I had to go online to check on business-stuff, honest;)

*Back to work. Really.*

Um, yes. Let's just say that we both suck :p.

And anyway, we're women! Unlike men, we can do two things at once ;).
*also back to work. Really.*
