Monday Schmonday

After much whining from the workforce In his infinite wisdom the boss has decided that we can close the office this Friday, so with the official holiday on Thursday, I will have an extra long superduper four day-weekend. The thought of all that time off work is making me wibble.

Oh, that's right.... we're losing a holiday this year.... Norway's national day falls on that Thursday this year... shoot....
Oh, well... Good for you, you get 2 days off instead of one, while we get one instead of two. I think you won this year!
Not that I notice any difference... I'm home anyway - but my hubby works leaving me alone with the kid.

Ah, but you see, we lost two (2!) holidays last year, when those days happened to be on a Sunday. Plus this day off is my own time: it is taken out of my vacationdays, but still; yay for long weekend!

I have nothing. NOTHING. Just Thursday, which is my day off anyway. So now I won't even be able to go shopping.

*whines and stomps foot and throws a temper tantrum*
