It's rerun-season! Remember this one?
Jun. 13th, 2007 09:53 pmAhw CSI-reruns. Le Sigh. Having seen most of the episodes before they are shown on Dutch television it's very amusing to finally read the subtitles, because the translators sometimes come up with the craziest stuff, as you may recall from this FannySmacking picture post. However, my favorite game during rerun-season is to try and guess the title of the old episode as soon as possible. I usually manage to pinpoint the season from Nick's and/or Greg's haircuts, but to get the right episode/case takes me a little longer.
Wanna play? Here are some screencaps - with subtitles to poke fun at...
(I translated them back to "english" to help the linguistically challenged;)

"I could have saved you the time. DNA is much more exact."
Greg is such a tease and knows how to push Nick's buttons *g*

"He doesn't call, doesn't mail, doesn't send a postcard."
Heh, looks like this is what Nick is thinking: trouble in paradise?

"...you like latex, you love models and Marilyn Manson..."
Grissom tries to figure Greg out...

"...and you collect coins". -"Weird, huh?"
Ahw Greggo - *ruffles his hair*

"Every time I make another DNA match in here, my world gets a little smaller."
Greg is eager to go outside.

"Out there ... it felt big."
(cue naughty thoughts;)
Well? The right season, episode number and/or title will be rewarded with more goodies;-)
I'm screening the comments so everyone can play. X-posted in

Date: 2007-06-17 09:50 pm (UTC)The look in their eyes tugs at my heartstrings. I really felt something was off between them in this episode. So sad. It's strange to watch it in subtext mode, when Greg is such an adoring puppy being allowed to go out of the lab while at the same time you sense trouble in paradise. Sometimes fangirling is too weird;)
Thank you dear, that's very nice to hear *blushes*

I mean, it *seems* really obvious but our vision may be biased, I suppose. I like to imagine they had a subdued breakfast because Greg was unhappy being cooped up in the lab and told Nick this, which made him vicariously unhappy. They don't actually fight in my head, you know ;).

I pity the people who only watch CSI as a crime-show. *g*
I can't really see them fighting, but there is a lot of silent grumpiness and miscommunication whenever the workload gets too much. Oh and I imagined a lot of misery during the teamsplit. *cuddles the guys*
